The Wheel of Life & Tune In Thursday #31

Tweet I want to take a minute and shout out a special THANK YOU! Thank you to all the individuals who joined me here over the summer with a Guest Post.  Thank you all for sharing your heart, your writing, and yourselves with those who join us here each week. I enjoyed having each one of you contribute this summer as it helped me to focus on my writing deadlines for Chosen Books. My final deadline is in fast approaching (12 days) but whose counting. LOL But more importantly, I loved sharing my space with you and your writing. The topics you tackled and the authenticity with which you shared touch many people! I hope that you each gained new weekly readers from the process as well. Today I am officially back, but please keep me in your prayers and I push through to finish the manuscript.  Now onto this weeks post.  ENJOY!     Laughter erupted from the other end of the couch as my husband sat watching a video on his phone. After he was done laughing with tears in his eyes, he said to me, “You’ve got to watch this!”  I thought to myself, it’s probably another video of baby goats bouncing around aimlessly or the ones that faint when they get scared.   He turned his phone towards me and instead I was staring at hamsters!  Hamsters running on a wheel, what could be so funny about that?  But as I watched the video, I suppose I could see why he thought it was funny, but I did not. Two hamsters trying to run on the...

September Guests Preview &Tune In Thursday #28

Tweet Hello! I hope you been been blessed by our summer Tune In Thursday Guest Bloggers.  I sure have!  In case you missed any of Augusts: just click on the pictures below. I can’t believe it is September already! It’s the time of year when kids head back to school and people begin talking about fall, pumpkins, and football.  Fall is one of my favorite seasons as all the leaves change and the beauty of nature is on display…(also fall gets me closer to the holidays when my kids are home). Although in my house, my husband said I am not allowed to talk PSL(pumpkin Spice Latte’s) or decorate for fall until October. LOL  He’s not ready for summer to end just yet since we had a cold winter and a wet spring, and summer was delayed here in the PNW for a bit.  But shhhh…. don’t tell him, my mind is already racing with plans on how decorate the mantle and front porch this year for fall.  Besides, I can’t wait ’til October. I have to do it when I get a break while my manuscript is being reviewed and before it comes back for new revisions. (You can be sure to find pictures appearing on my Instagram @Dare2Hear when I do!) Click on the porch picture below to be taken to the post, and see all the pictures of what I did last year (2016):                                I would love to hear what you’ve been up to and what you are looking forward to in the months ahead?  Please share in the comments below. Faithful to the End Vlog #48 Lessons from the Lake

Faithful to the End Vlog #48 Lessons from the Lake

Tweet Are you ever struck by the lyrics of the songs you sing during worship?  I am, especially when the Holy Spirit orchestrates the service and it fits so well with the sermon. God will often whisper to my heart during times and worship, and release His truth into me. Join me on Lessons from the Lake today and watch the video below, to see what God whispered to my heart recently, and don’t miss the blessing I speak over you at the end. I am God’s treasure and so are you!Powered By the Tweet This PluginTweet This     God is faithful to the very end to complete the promises He has for you and I.  It may not be in our timing, but in His. We must remember, we are safe within His promise of calling and destiny.  The truth isn’t what we do from 8-5 the truth is what we do with the plans and calling and destiny God has for us. Do you know what they are? Psalm 37:4-5 NIV says: Take delight in the Lord,     and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord;     trust in him and he will do this: Look to God for His plans and His Destiny for your life.  His word tells us that as we look to God, as we focus on Him, His desires become our desires.  His plan and His will becomes our hearts desires.   We are Heaven’s spun creation.Powered By the Tweet This PluginTweet This I will #Sing about all #God has done.Powered By the Tweet This PluginTweet This   Enjoy...
