August Guest Line Up & Tune in Thursday #23

Tweet Hello! I hope you been been blessed by our summer Tune In Thursday Guest Bloggers.  I sure have!  In case you missed any of them just click on the pictures below. I can’t believe it is August already!  Wow time sure has flown by.  Have you been enjoying your summer? It has been unusually warm here in the PNW and we are supposed to get into the 100’s this week.  For some parts of the country that is normal, but not for WA State. Although my summer has been busy with rewrites, and working with my editor.  I have had some fun things mixed.  I celebrated a birthday, went to my husbands 30-year class reunion, but had to miss mine. (I know I am showing my age LOL).  I finally had a few days with no writing, while waiting for edits to come back and got a chance to finish a fiction book someone gave me for Christmas 2 years ago. August is gearing up to be just as busy:  My hubby and I will celebrate 28 years of marriage. I am nearing the time for beta testing, with my book. Yahoo!   I should also get a sneak peek soon of the publishers cover design – Will you join me in prayer for it to be God inspired?  Thanks.  Plus lots of unplanned adventures that I am sure will find me as well. I would love to hear what you have been up to, or what you have planned for the rest of this summer. Please share with me in the comments below.   I don’t have...

God Never Promised Easy … & Tune In Thursday #20 Guest Julie Loos

Tweet I am so excited for this Summers Tune In Thursday Guest Blogs!  Y’all, are in for a special treat, as we have some very special guests joining us over the summer each week.   Julie is our first guest and  love her heart to be real about life’s messes and challenges.  On her about page, Julie writes, “As I’ve trusted in the hard over and over again, God is slowly replacing my defaults and deficiencies into strengths and wisdom.”  I like that about her.  She doesn’t try to hide the messes, she faces them straight on, and even shares with us, in hopes we too can move forward. I don’t know about you, but I can relate to her opening statement below.. “The last few years have been the hardest of my life …” Can you relate? Maybe you are in that season right now.  Or maybe it’s been years, but you know what she’s talking about.  Either way, Julie shares some very powerful tools to help us have faith in the hard difficult seasons of life. Summer Preview & Tune In Thursday #19

Summer Preview & Tune In Thursday #19

Tweet Hello! I hope that you had a wonderful Independence Day Celebration with your family and friends.   I would love to hear how you celebrated. Did you do something new this year? follow through with a family tradition? OR ??? Please share with me in the comments below. As for us?  Well, we’ve had a full house since last week when our first family guest arrived. My parents, plus my husbands mom and aunt have been here for the last 6 days. My momma’s heart was happy when my son came to visit for a few days, but he couldn’t stay through the 4th. On the 4th we hosted our annual lakeside potluck BBQ and watched fireworks around the lake.  Delicious food, fun conversations, and watching the awe and wonder light up the kids’ face is exactly how I imagined spending the 4th of July.   Due to all the busyness I just shared above and then some, I don’t have a post to share with you this week. (Link up is still below) Instead I am giving you a sneak peak, of  the Tune In Thursday Summer Preview.  A preview of the Special Guests who will be joining me on the  Blog in July.. and throughout the rest of the summer too.  Yahoo!   July’s Summer Line Up:   July 13: God Never Promised Easy, Where’s your Faith in the Hard?   BY: Julie Loos                 July 20:Declaration of Dependence    BY:  Michele Morin                     July 27:  When You Need Support to Bear...
