Hello Friends, and welcome to this weeks linkup.  I am taking a much needed week off from writing, and hanging with some of my writer “mastermind” friends.  However, the linkup is still happening below.

Plus Don’t miss the special giveaway opportunity below for those who answer my question in the comments.

If you follow me on social media, I am sure you will be seeing pictures of our adventures.

We are four women from four different locations, who have a passion to write and bring the truths of Jesus to our corner of the world.

Four years ago this past October I met an amazing group of women. Two sets of friends who made connections with each other.  We first connected online doing linkups and then we finally met face to face at a writers conference. God brought us together and after our first face to face meeting we have purposed to stay in connected.

We created a mastermind writing group, but as our lives and writing priorities changed over the years, we stopped meeting as “masterminds”. However, we have continued to share in life’s high and lows, we have encouraged each other in our writing and lifted each other up in prayer.

We have learned that we are #BetterTogether and when God brings people into your life, you take the steps necessary to invest in those relationships no matter the distance.

“The Masterminds”

It’s been two years since we have all been together in the same location, but this week we are reconnecting face to face and taking time to be refreshed and catch up.  We are also celebrating our 4 year friend-aversary, book releases, birthdays, soon to be born grand-babies plus much, much more. There is something so important about sharing life with others.

I thought it would be fun if you shared in the comments about an unexpected connection which grew into friendship.  Make sure to make it compelling because….

For those of you who respond and share your story in the comments, my friends and I are will each choose our favorite story and we will send you a gift.

4 prizes, 4 potential winners. Although, if we choose the same story, that person will get a prize from each person who chose their story.

I (Debbie) will be giving away a signed copy of my new book: The Gift of Prophetic Encouragement: Hearing the Words of God for Others. (Or my other book if you already have a copy of this one)

Mary Geisen who hosts #TellHisStory Linkup on Tuesday 5pm (CT) will be giving away a copy of her devotional: Brave Faith: a 31 day devotional journey.

Holly Solomon will be giving away a copy of her 12 week Bible Study book: Gray Hair Talking Lessons in Living in Grace

Patti Krank who blogs at Old Things New and writes about DIY, home decor and  her faith will send you this brand new “Live Simply” pillow.

We will choose the winners next week. So you can still comment and respond through Wednesday November 14th.
