This week on the video blog, I taped on location as we were filming for our annual women’s retreat promotional video.
You will notice, I look a little different, and that this weeks lesson is a lot shorter than normal.
One it was freezing cold at our location as our area was experiencing extremely low temperatures these past few weeks, wearing a formal dress while beautiful, was definitely not keeping me warm enough for the temperatures. Secondly, I am wearing my war paint, and carrying a weapon. Check out the video to see what I am talking about…..
It is essential for us to understand who we are in Christ. We must understand what our spiritual identity is and what the Word of God says about us.
Many women either identify with being a princess or with being a warrior, when in fact, we are both.
Thursday in my blog post, I will be dive deeper into the importance of embracing both our princess identity and our warrior identity. After all, we are the Bride of Christ, and we are called to be Kingdom Warriors.

I enjoyed your post. It is true that we have a dual nature and I am trying to embrace both sides!
Thank you Nicole! Trying to embrace both is so important, but I think it takes concentrated effort sometime. Kind of like a pendulum swinging back and forth – way to one side or the other and its not in perfect time or rhythm… but then when it does and both sides are equal, it keeps perfect time. Thank you so much for stopping by this evening.
Debbie, first off I have to tell you-you look fabulous in lavender. It brings out the blonde in your hair and the color in your cheeks. Not to mention your war paint! LOL Excited to hear more about being a princess and a warrior, I agree with that but I cannot wait to see the scripture that you share with us about this topic. I hope you have a wonderful week, see you soon.
THANK YOU NIkki! I should wear it more often I borrowed the dress for the video, so it isn’t a color that I usually wear, but I may have to change that. The war paint was especially fun ….have a fabulous weekend and I will make sur to link up the next installment which is already live as I type. Arise Warrior Princess.
Great video and message, Debbie! I hope your women’s retreat ministers to many! And thanks for braving the cold so you could bring us a message of truth and power!
Thank you Beth! I am believing for the same thing regarding our retreat as well. thank you for stopping by for a visit today
