Technology and I are not friends!
Yep, it’s true, I get so frustrated when technical things do not work the proper way. My husband is a tech guy, he’s a software engineer, and I often call out to him in frustration when tech stuff isn’t working right or at all. Then, I get even more frustrated when he just walks into the room and stuff that wasn’t working just all of a sudden starts to work. I hate setting up emails, doing anything new on my website, becasue I often mess it up.
I hate having to get new technology like a new computer or a new cell phone, becasue I am familiar with the ways the old one works. I even hate getting new vehicles, becasue I am familiar with the way the old one drives. Well, at Christmas, I got some new technology: a new phone and a new stereo deck with a back up camera and a plug in for my new phone. I think my husband was tired of me running into his shop and running off the driveway at night in the rain as I backed down our long driveway. I have figured out the new phone, or so I thought, but I am still figuring out the whole car stereo thing.
Several Sunday mornings ago, I was on my way to church and I plugged in my new phone to the new stereo thing, wanting to listen to a podcast. However, things didn’t work the right way. Watch the video blog today to see what happened and what God started to talk to me about.
God sure does work in mysterious ways, doesn’t He? I mean, how does a song play on my phone, that I haven’t ever purposed to listen to before, let alone recently?
When God wants to get His message to us, He finds a way. So, what has He been speaking to you lately?
What Has He been showing you? What has God done for you lately? How has He been moving in your life ?
How has He touched you? Saved you? Delivered You?
Hae you been sharing with the others the amazing things God has done and is doing in your life today?
Let’s not be silent, or quiet about His faithfulness. We are ALIVE, He’s ALIVE, and He wants us to tell others about what he is doing.
Arise, be Alive and let Him move in your life today. May our testimonies be, this is what God did for me Today! And He can do the same for you Now!

Debbie,
I had to chuckle in recognition as I read your post as I’m not a big tech person either 🙂 Glad God spoke to you through that song: Alive. God spoke to me through Jesus Calling to remind me to keep my eyes on Him.
Dolly, I am glad I am not in my technology quandary alone! I love the book Jesus calling too, and it is always good when God speaks to us and reminds us of something important. Thanks for stopping by and laughing with me 🙂
Hi, Debbie! So nice to meet you! (In person-even!) This is a GREAT post! I love it when my kids songs speak straight to my heart … they often become my favorites. I don’t know if I know this one … Thanks for this great encouragement that we are alive! And that God is moving in our lives. Blessings to you, new friend!

LOL, thanks Meg – I am glad you think I was on fire, if I recall, it was freezing outside the day I recorded this post and I so would have loved to be on fire…LOL But seriously, thank you, I know that you are talking about the fire of the Holy Spirit and it truly blesses me that you would say that.
