[Widget_Twitter id=”1″]After taking an unplanned break last week from my regularly “planned” schedule, I am back and digging deeper in to the word for 2015 – A Year of Breakthrough and Bounty!

Even the best made plans are always open to interruption from the Holy Spirit. Right? – Absolutely!

As we continue to look at what can get in the way of our breakthrough and bounty, let’s recap the steps I have talked about so far:

1. No Longer Slaves – We have to change our mindset and begin living as the free sons and daughters we are!
2. Inheritance – As children of God, His DNA is in us. We have been given a Spiritual Inheritance that we can begin to spend now!
3. Authority – We have been given certain rights and privileges that come with son-ship. Spiritual Authority is a delegated power bestowed upon us by Jesus, so that we can carry on His work.

Which brings me to this week’s point. Since we have been given Spiritual Authority, and we have a Spiritual Inheritance, we are supposed to be walking in right now, it’s time. Time to Rise Up – All Creation is waiting. What is it waiting for? You and I. The children of God to take our rightful place.

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. (Romans 8:19-21)

Many of us are still living under the curse that came in when Adam and Eve sinned. A curse that still exists in this world. However, Tweet: Jesus Christ broke the curse with His death and resurrection so that you and I could live again under the original design.   We no longer have to live under the curse the moment we say “Yes!” to Jesus and allow His Spirit to dwell in us.

 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. Darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you” (Isaiah 60:1-2).

These verses in Isaiah were speaking to the city of Zion; however, they also pertain to believers today. Arise and shine, believers! Jesus Christ has come and His glory appears over you. The indwelling Spirit of God makes us The Sons of God. As born again believers, the only thing between you and me manifesting son-ship, is knowledge and application.

What do I mean by this?

I read scriptures like these:

 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it (John 14:12-14).

 And he said to them, Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover (Mark 16: 15-18 ).

And yet, I don’t do or see those things consistently occurring today. At least not in America today. Do you? Why do you think that is?

I think we read the scriptures especially like the ones above, and in our minds we agree, but when it comes to walking it out, we freeze. There a difference between understanding a concept and having practical application of it. I also contend it’s because we don’t fully understand that as new creations in Christ Jesus, we occupy the same position of son-ship with the father that Jesus does.

Anyone who knows me, knows I love watching movies and reading books. God often speaks to me when I am at the movies or reading a book. So, if you haven’t read or watched The Chronicles of Narnia, let me be the first to encourage you to read/watch a classic.

Narnia is such a fantastic movie and has a powerful spiritual message. There is one particular scene in the movie where it talks about an ancient prophecy for Narnia. This prophecy tells of two Daughters of Eve and two Sons of Adam coming to Narnia. These four humans are deemed the true and rightful rulers of Narnia by Alsan. The White Witch, however, is the one who is laying claim to the throne, and thus a battle begins. The movie chronicles the lives of these four humans as they make choices and, finally, stand up and take their rightful place in the Kingdom of Narnia.

The imagery and message in the movie is the same for us today. Yes, there is evil in this world, just like there was in Narnia. However, we too must make take our rightful place and walk in the victory and inheritance that Jesus sacrificed to give us. As we wait for His glorious return we do the things He commanded us to do.

Here is a word the Lord gave me regarding how we need to respond.

It’s TIME!! – It’s time the people of God wake up and take our rightful place as His heirs. There are things we need to do NOW, to partner with heaven to usher in the Kings return. First however, we must repent of our inaction, dishonor, disunity, and stop pointing fingers at one another. We must come together in Unity. We must stand shoulder to shoulder, and we must pray. Then, when we hear from heaven, we respond.
