Remember & Honor
~ Memorial Day ~
This weekend we celebrate Memorial Day.
It’s a day to remember and honor. We remember those who gave their lives fighting for our freedoms and we honor them. We remember the freedoms we have as a nation are because of those who sacrificed and gave their lives.
It was a year ago our family made the 4 day adventurous trek across our great Nation when we relocated from the West Coast all the way to the East Coast. We again made the trip last September to bring my son and his wife here. Mile after mile I saw first hand just how beautiful our nation is and the lyrics to America the Beautiful kept coming to mind.
I am grateful to the men and women who serve our country. I don’t want this weekend to pass me by without remembering and honoring those who gave their lives so we could all live FREE in the beautiful land called America!
