Meet This Week’s Guest: Tim GIdley
Tim met Christ when he was 8 years old and is from a family dedicated to knowing and loving Jesus. Being a musical family it made sense that Tim would also have a love for music and performing. A love for music, and a desire to share his faith in Christ culminated in 1997 when he was asked to join Rambo/Mcguire Ministries as the bus driver. They knew nothing of his vocal abilities at that time.
“The Lord opened the door for me to first serve in the most basic capacities in a traveling ministry. I drove the bus, set up equipment, and stayed in the background,” remembers Tim.
Luke 16 speaks of taking care of that which belongs to another, so that God may give you that which is your own. Well, it worked out after a few months later, Reba Rambo, daughter of beloved Gospel legend Dottie Rambo, heard Tim sing and then the ministry started giving him opportunity to minister in song and playing drums.
Tim now celebrates 22 years in ministry and music. Having recorded 8 solo projects, Tim has shared the Gospel in 15 countries of the world, most beloved being Israel where Tim has led several pilgrimages since 2014. Tim’s ministry has been received as well by many conferences and churches as a keynote speaker and soloist. Also singing for political events such as The 2012 Republican National Convention.
Tim’s vocals and the anointing on his life have opened doors for him to minister on several Christian television networks such as TBN, CTN and TCT. Tim has also been asked to be the soloist for several prolific ministries around the country including Reinhard Bonnke; Bishop T.D. Jakes, and Dr. Mark Chironna. However, Tim and Sabrina Gidley have a passion and love for the local church and providing love, friendship and support to Pastors. Tim has stated that the local church is the main military base in our communities standing against darkness in the earth. Being a blessing and support to the church local and around the world is this ministry’s priority and main objective.
Tim is celebrating 20 years of marriage to his wife Sabrina this year, and the union of the couple has produced 3 children Maximus, Giselle, and Gabriella Grace.
The Gidley family recently packed up their home in Aiken, SC at the direction of the Holy Spirit and are ministering full-time around the United States walking and living by Faith. Seeing God provide and bless at every turn. God indeed has been faithful.
