Well, we are into the second quarter of the year already, and supposedly into Spring!
Wow, usually times seems to fly by, but this year with all the rainy weather and strange weather we have been experiencing in the PNW, it seems like time has been slow moving.
I think it is a good time to stop, breathe, and evaluate where we are and how far we have come since the beginning of the year.
Did you make New Years Resolutions? If so, how are you doing so far?
I don’t do resolutions anymore, becasue I always felt guilty when I didn’t make it past March.
However, a few years ago, I started to participate in choosing #OneWord for the year that I feel is from God.
Today on the video blog, I share about how I have seen God working through my #OneWord – DWELL!
If you want to read more about my #OneWord for the year, you can read it by clicking on the picture below:
I would love to hear from you in the comments below:

Hi Debbie,
I’m always glad to be your neighbor over at Meg’s for #TeaAndWord! Wow, God was so good to give you that word, “Dwell” when He knew what was headed your way! My OneWord was Stillness, and He has been showing me things about being in His Presence that I never experienced before. And I thought I knew about being His Presence! I did–but He always has so much more to teach us, doesn’t He? Blessings to you Dear Sister, as you continue to teach and inspire so many!
Bettie – so very glad to have you as a neighbor too. You are so right, God always has more to teach us, even when we think we already “know” it.. lol I love your word stillness, I am not very good at being still, but it necessary to learn the practice of stillness so we can learn more about Him and His nature. Thank you for sharing your one word with me today 🙂 Blessings to you.
Hi Debbie! I’m your neighbor at #TellHisStory this week. My one word is “wait” and I’m not sure how well I am practicing it. I’m trying to be still and be sensitive to God’s leading as I plan my writing, etc.
Thanks for sharing your heart! Blessings to you!
Hi Gayl – so very glad to have you as a neighbor. I think waiting is hard no matter when it is, and to be honest, I am not sure how well I am practicing my one word – dwell lately. I think your heart is in the right place and staying sensitive to the Lord and His leading is a great place to start. Blessings
