I’ve got a question for you today….. For some, its going to be really easy to answer …. For others, not so much…
Are you ready? Ok, here it is….
What is THE thing God has entrusted to you?
Please watch this weeks video blog as I talk more about this question and what I feel God has entrusted me with ….
Scripture tells us that God has a purpose and a destiny for each one of us.
Jeremiah 29: 11 … For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
That’s right, there is something that HE has entrusted just to you. As Beth Moore says in her Bible Study, we will all have to stand before the Throne of God one day and give account for 2 things:
1. Did we spread the good news of salvation
2. What did we do with what was entrusted to us?
There is something that only you can do for the body of Christ. Do you know what it is? If so, I would love for you to share below in the comments.
For me, I believe God has entrusted me with the ability to INSPIRE!
The ability to inspire you to believe for the Big things He has for you. To Inspire you to chase your dreams and your destiny. To inspire you to not give up but have Big faith! He’s given me the ability to see the gold inside people and to call it out, to encourage and motivate individuals, and He’s given me the faith to believe that ALL things are possible with Him!

Debbie- thanks for sharing what you’re learning and encouraging others to seek God in answering this question too 🙂 You are inpsiring me today! I just finished the Entrusted Study and it was HUGE for me.
Bethany – thank you for stopping in and sharing – I am so happy to hear that the Entrusted Study was huge for you…. So, out of curiosity, how did you answer the question – What has God entrusted to you? I am only half way through the study, but it has been powerful and life changing for me.
Hi Debbie, great post! I think I’m here to ignite passion in people. To ignite their passion to live out their dreams and to do the outrageous thing that is in your heart. To run full throttle with God.
Hi Su! Yes, I could see how you have been entrusted to ignite people. You are a very passionate person and you too run full throttle with God – such a great thing to be entrusted with. Thank you for sharing with me today.
Debbie,
I have so enjoyed your words and wisdom. I’m a grandma of six, a wife and friend. Of corse what God has entrusted me with has changed through the years but at this time he is I trusting me with encouraging younger women. Continually telling them they have great worth and how much God loves them. I have begun by develpoing some wonderful relationships with younger women. Listening is my best asset. Speaking light into them. I try never to fix them just walk beside them in support. Febuary will be our fiftieth aniversary and my husband and I have a lot of marriage stuff under our belts. It all come from my relationship with the Lord.
Oh thank you so much Patty, that means to world to hear from someone who has wisdom herself to share. I love that God has entrusted you with mentoring younger women in this season of your life. The church in general, but especially the younger generation needs more people just like you willing to share their wisdom and experience… even if the younger ladies don’t understand the importance of it, they will soon. Oh and Listening is so important. Also, Happy 50th anniversary to you and your husband. I would say you definitely have a lot of experience under your belt. 🙂 Thank you for sharing of yourself and your experience and wisdom with whomever God places in your path. Blessings to you Patty, and have fun celebrating your anniversary.
I think that all the things that have happened in the last 5 years was God leading us to be there for our kids. To stand for mental disease and addiction, to help my children become who God created them to be. And that we are to speak out, to help others understand and empathize with mental illness. Here in the United States we have a very poor mental healthcare system, it’s so sad how many people are lost and have no where to get help. Keep encouraging and inspiring!
Nikki – I think being an advocate not just for your own children, and family, but for others that don’t know how or what to say, is so very important! I think God gave you a tenacious attitude and He has entrusted you with what may seem like a monumental task, but it is so very important to the ones you love, and to the ones who have loved ones suffering from similar things.
Thanks for this, Debbie! I know I’ve been entrusted with a gift to encourage others. I don’t always follow through, but I know God always forgives and encourages me to keep on. I’m your neighbor at the #LMMLinkup!
Blessings to you!
You are most welcome Gayl – and encouraging others is so very important. Yes, God always gives us chances, even when we mess up, He encourages us to keep going.
Great question. What an important question to explore. Inspiring others to walk in their purpose is a wonderful gift. Linking with you at Counting My Blessings.
Ginger, thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. It is most definitely a great question that had me thinking for a while, even though I had to answer it right away during Bible Study, it wasn’t until a few days to a week later, that I had a real solid answer. So what do you think the thing is that God entrusted to you? I would love to hear.
