Today on the podcast I share the ONE Word for the year God gave me to focus on. It’s a word with an anchor scripture. It’s usually a word He wants me to dig in and go deeper with Him to discover more about.

TRUST: My One Word for 2025
For the last 10+ years, at the beginning of the New Year, I have asked God to give me ONE Word, phrase, or thought to focus on and go deeper with Him during that season. I also ask Him to give me an anchor Scripture to mediate on and study more fully. This year He gave me the Word TRUST. He began by asking me, “Debbie, do you trust me?” I started to say, “Yes, I trust You, Lord.” But I knew the question meant, there was some area of my life where I needed to work on trusting Him more. He also gve me Jeremiah 17:7-8 as my anchor Scripture for this year.
