I woke up with this prophetic word God gave me in 2008 on my heart. It was in the midst of the economy spiraling downward out of control and people feeling uncertain. It was also the very first blog post I posted 5 years ago when I restarted my blog. I felt I should re-share it today with all that’s going on in the world. It feels like it is a timely message for today!

Every time there is a mighty move of God in the Church and throughout the land, there is first a shaking.  A shaking to bring us back to the heart of the Father.  God wants to remind us not worry about anything, but in all things give thanks. The silver and the gold are His.

Invasion of Glory!

Everything that has Breath

Tuesday morning as I woke up, a verse from Psalm 150 came to my mind. Yes, Lord, I responded. “Let everything that has breath praise you!”

Has this ever happened to you?

You know, you are waking up, going to sleep or just plain minding your own business and out of nowhere, a verse or song lyrics pops into your head? It often happens to me, but this week’s occurrence didn’t just stop there.  It went way beyond God encouraging me with a scripture.

This verse was on my mind and His praise was ever on my lips that morning as I readied myself for the day. Later that morning when my friend and I were visiting and talking about everything and of course about nothing other than the COVID19. I was sharing how it was sad that the 2020 graduates wouldn’t be able to have their ceremonies and celebrate but that as always someone came up with a great graphic sweatshirt for these graduates. The graphic had surgical masks over the two – zero’s in 2020. It was funny, but not really funny. My friend then remarked, yeah, it’s a sad day indeed because 2020 is supposed to be about our vision!

It was then Psalm 150:6 came to my mind again: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”

As I began to mediate on this passage of scripture and especially verse 6 God began speaking to me about COVID19 and our response. He began to remind me that this is not just the year of vision (2020) but this is the year of the voice (on the Hebrew calendar). It was then that I felt God began to connect the dots for me.

The thing about the coronavirus is that it begins with flu like symptoms, then goes after the respiratory system. COVID19 goes after the very breath within people. Scripture says that we face a real enemy that prowls around, roaring like a lion, seeking whom he can kill, steal from and destroy. Then God nudged me to go back and re-read what He spoke to me concerning this year 2020. You can read it here or by clicking on the picture below.

If you’ve been following my Dare2Hear ministry Facebook page, you might have seen my lasts video where I released the word. Or if you regularly follow this blog, you know I have had what has turned into a series of post in response to the COVID19 virus.

The first being: Fear Not.

The second being: This is the Church’s Finest Hour

(Click on the picture images if you want to read those posts).

Again, my regularly scheduled post is being delayed in order to bring this current now word God laid on my heart. It relates to the Word for 2020 I released at the beginning of the year.  You can find the full word by clicking on the picture below or click here: 2020 is a Year of Expansion and a Year of the Double.

The Lord declared at the beginning of the year, that vision and the voice are essential in this coming season. It’s not just vital that God’s people begin to pray in this season, we must begin to declare, and release the sound of our voices into the heavenlies. We do this by speaking out the Word of God and His promises that are available to us. Do not let the enemy steal your breath or your voice in this season. Fear is something that can steal our voice, but we must not let it. Instead, we need to seek God and begin to speak out loud and praise our God. We need to begin to speak the answer from the Scripture and the turn-around in this season.

Voice and Vision

Clear vision and a strong voice are essential in this season. God is restoring and renewing vision this year. Vision to dream again. Vision to see the unseen, to see past the natural and current reality and into the spiritual which is the truth of Kingdom reality.  This is the year of the voice!  The time is now to begin boldly proclaiming the things God has been showing you. Sing O Barren One – Let your voice burst forth. Let your voice be heard in the heavenlies as you call forth and declare the promises God has given you and what he is showing you.  Dreams are awaking and Hope is Rising in this season.[1]

Sing Children of God. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord in your homes, your cars, your showers, your front yards, your back yards. Everywhere you are – Let your voice ring out with the sounds of praise and prayer. This is not a season to be fearful, this is a season to lean in to hear the Father’s voice more clearly.

Breath, God’s breath and our breath is vital and very symbolic in the Bible. God breathed His breath into Adam when He created him. He breathed His pneuma spirit into man and He breathes on and into us today.  Our Voices were created to carry a weight and authority in the spiritual realm. At creation God spoke and things came into existence. We must be careful in regards to the words that come out of our mouth. We must be careful what we give oxygen to, or rather, what we breath upon. Our voice, our breath, our words matter and are powerful.

This is a season to allow God to reawaken the dreams and passions in our hearts. This is a season to step out and trust God. This is a season to fight for your dreams. Stand your ground, draw the line in the sand and use your voice so pray, sing, declare and decree the words, dreams, plans and purposes of God over your life!

It’s time to go back to the things God spoke to your heart a long time ago, a week ago, or even a day ago.  Hold them before the Lord in prayer and seek His heart concerning them and then begin to use your voice to pray and speak out loud.  Give oxygen (your voice) to the dreams and plans God has placed within you.

This is the time to begin to write that book, start that new project, launch that new business, begin that podcast. This is the time to begin that ______fill in the blank _____!

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Now is the time to see with our eyes and proclaim with our voice the promises, decrees and plans of God.  We pray out loud. We declare and decree out loud. We sing praises to our God out loud! We use our breath to praise God!

How would you fill in the blank?

This is the time to begin that ______fill in the blank _____!
