Rhett’s family has deep roots in Alabama, Rhett spent his younger years growing
up in Andalusia and Mobile. His family owns acres of land, and his relatives had
first hand experience with the Boll Weevil. He attended Troy State University, and
is also the author of the novel, Thank God for Boll Weevils. His hobbies include the
Old West and Civil War history and on occasion, a good/bad game of golf. Self
employed in marketing and advertising sales he resides in Clanton, Alabama with
his wife Amy and two children, Dison and Maci.
