Happy Independence Day to you and your family. I hope that you are getting to celebrate our Nations Independence in your favorite way.
My family will be spending the morning relaxing, and then we will get busy working as we finished the preparations to host our annual 4th of July BBQ and fireworks viewing around the lake.
Below I took a few seconds out of our weekly preparations and had a few thoughts and holiday wishes to share with you.

As mentioned in the Lessons from the Lake video above, We had an ensemble this past Sunday July 2nd, 2017 perform “America the Beautiful” as special music. Five of the eight people in the ensemble attend Restoration Church where my husband and I pastor. If you look closely, you will even see my husband in the group (Hint he is the guy in the very middle). It was such a fun way to remember the coming Holiday. (Sorry the sound isn’t the highest quality, but it sure was amazing to listen to live).
