What is our Kingdom Inheritance?
What is our Spiritual inheritance?
To answer these questions we must first define what “Inheritance” is.
Inheritance (1)
1. something that is or may be inherited; property passing at the owner’s death to the heir or those entitled to succeed; legacy
2. the genetic characters transmitted from parent to offspring, taken collectively
3. portion; birthright; heritage:
Inheritance: to receive as a legacy or promise; to come into possession of or receive as a rightful heir the acquisition of a possession from past generations.(2)
An inheritance in the natural helps you start out ahead. God intended the same thing to happen for you and I. The Word of God is full of promises that were spoken to, over, and about the children of God. God loves His kids, and He has given us an inheritance in the Kingdom of God
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory (Romans 8:16-17).
A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children, ( Prov.13:22)
Psalm 33:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance.”
The Word of God is full of so many promises detailing our Kingdom Inheritance. Much of which we get to to walk in NOW. Just think about all that Jesus left for us as an inheritance:
- Salvation
- Holy Spirit baptism
- Authority
- Hearing God
- Healings
- Setting captives free
- Miracles, Signs, & Wonders
All these things and more, Jesus paid a price for, and we get for free, simply by saying YES to Him. Now it’s our time to begin understand the Biblical promises and start walking in the fullness of our Kingdom Inheritance.

The inheritance we receive will mean more throughout eternity than the inheritance of the richest family here on earth. And all for having the good sense to accept Christ as our Savior! (And the Holy Spirit has to help us to even do that!)
