Making room for God in our day to day lives is something I think all Christ followers would agree is a necessity. But what about when God decides to move in new ways or ways that we are not familiar with?
We are in a new season where we are seeing and will continue to see God move in powerful and mighty ways. Ways that no eye has seen and no ear has heard before (1 Corinthians 2:9).
Are you ready?
It’s time for us to prepare our hearts and minds for a new move of God. It’s time to rid ourselves of the old baggage, hurt, unforgiveness, judgmental attitudes and more. God is doing a new thing, are you ready?
Just as Isaiah 43:18-19 says:
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
Preparing and cleaning (Cleansing) is hard work but it’s oh so rewarding. God is coming back one day for His Bride without spot, wrinkle or blemish (Ephesians 5:27) but we must willingly submit to the process. He is calling us to let go of our “stuff” and cooperating with Him to clean our “house” ~ and submit our whole spirit, soul, and our body to Him as a living sacrifice.
Are you ready? It’s time to make more room for Him. It’s time to go low, and it’s time to diligently seek Him.

1 Corinthians 2:9 says: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those.”…. God is preparing His Bride for things we have never seen or heard. It’s not going to be the way He has moved in the past, He is doing a new thing. But we need to make room for Him to move. Just as King Josiah realized that he was not following, he tore down the high places and brought the people back to the heart of worshiping God. God is bringing us, His church back to a place where we need to “clean house.” We need to heal our hearts, tear down our walls, and unpack our boxes of old mindsets and renew a covenant with God.
