Hey Friends!
I have missed you. Sorry there was no linkup last week, that was not my intention, but. my travel plans and delayed planes kind of decided that for me.
BUT: I’m finally home after 3-weeks of traveling to the West Coast including speaking at a Writers Conference at Mount Hermon, California and seeing family. Since last week didn’t go as planned, this week I have 2 Podcast Episodes to share with you.
Last week’s intended link-up Ministry to Kinds and this week’s newest podcast episode., This week, we have one of our own fellow bloggers, TAI EAST sharing about her new children’s book, Abram says, “God Talks to Me!”
It was such an honor and a huge highlight to speak at the Inspire Christian Writers Conference at Mount Hermon! I got to teach two workshops on Book/Product Launches.
Here’s a look at that.
But the winning highlight for me was getting to watch my niece play college softball. If you follow me on social media you may have seen my “Proud Auntie Bragging Moment.” LOL Because, as if watching her play wasn’t reward enough, she even won player of the week in the NAIA Cascade College Conference Division. We are praying her team continues to do well and makes it to Nationals in Georgia so we can drive down and watch her play some more. You can join in me in that pray if you like. 🙂

My writing friend Tai East wrote a beautiful Children’s book titled: Abram Says, “God Talks to Me.” Children are extra sensitive to the Holy Spirit and know or sense far more than adults give them credit for. So how do we begin to dialogue this with our kids? Well, look no further, Tai’s book will introduce children to a real relationship with God. Abram says,”God Talks to Me.” is a conversation starter for adults to begin talking to kids, and kids to begin to talk to adults regarding spiritual things.

I have to confess that as a group, kids are not my thing! I have tried to volunteer with the kids ministry at church and it’s awful – I’m awful. I love my own kids but i think it takes someone special to love someone else’s.
Lauren, I completely understand. It does take someone special to volunteer with kids ministry. It’s one of the hardest positions in a church to fill and yet, also one of the most important too. Blessings to you
