Hello!
I hope you been been blessed by our summer Tune In Thursday Guest Bloggers. I sure have! In case you missed any of Augusts: just click on the pictures below.
I can’t believe it is September already!
It’s the time of year when kids head back to school and people begin talking about fall, pumpkins, and football. Fall is one of my favorite seasons as all the leaves change and the beauty of nature is on display…(also fall gets me closer to the holidays when my kids are home).
Although in my house, my husband said I am not allowed to talk PSL(pumpkin Spice Latte’s) or decorate for fall until October. LOL He’s not ready for summer to end just yet since we had a cold winter and a wet spring, and summer was delayed here in the PNW for a bit. But shhhh…. don’t tell him, my mind is already racing with plans on how decorate the mantle and front porch this year for fall. Besides, I can’t wait ’til October. I have to do it when I get a break while my manuscript is being reviewed and before it comes back for new revisions. (You can be sure to find pictures appearing on my Instagram @Dare2Hear when I do!)
Click on the porch picture below to be taken to the post, and see all the pictures of what I did last year (2016):

Do you wonder if God still speaks today? Do you wonder if He would ever speak to you personally? Do you long to hear the voice of God in your life?
Have your read other books on hearing from God, but long for hands on practical application? or are you looking for ways to move you forward hearing from God?
If you answered YES to any of those questions, then I have exactly what you need. I now have an online e-course designed to equip you in understanding that God still speaks today, and He longs to speak directly to you, through His word, and others. He longs to encourage you, strengthen you and comfort you. The training on this site, is fully based on Scripture, and taken from my training manual Releasing God’s heart through Hearing His Voice.
I have been teaching these classes internationally for the last 10+ years equipping and training believers in discerning the Ways God speaks. God is speaking, Can you Hear Him?
2. My new membership site, d2htrainging.com has official opened, I invite you to check it out today, and develop a deeper relationship with the Lord, as you learn to hear Him speak to your heart.

Fall is my favorite season, but I love summer, too. (It’s just too short here in Maine!) We spent Labor Day with all nine Morins at the beach, playing in the ocean and eating picnic food all day long. It was glorious and God gave us sunshine and relatively warm temps, so I was grateful.
Thanks for all you do here, and blessings to you as you wrangle that book into existence!
Michele – Our summers are usually way to short here int he PNW too. Truthfully I have an appreciation for all the seasons. Sounds like your Labor Day was wonderful: Family, ocean, food and sun! Thank you, this last push with the book sure does feel like a wrangling – such a perfect word for this portion of the process. LOL Blessings
I do love fall, but for silly reasons like being able to pull out my boots and change up my outfits!!
I really love every season because they each have their positives!!
XOXO

Oh Jodie – I do love me some boots 😉 I am usually a flip-flop girl through November, but the last few years I found some really great comfortable boots, and I love any reason to wear them. I can understand loving every season, truth be told I have favorite things about each one too. So glad to have you a part of the community here.
Your secret is safe with me Deb, even though I tend to be in agreement with John. We went out last night and I was surprised at how cool the air was. I almost wished I’d brought a light sweater along. Hmmm…
Thank you for hosting the party, even in the midst of your crazy schedule. I hope the edits are done soon so you can get decorating for Fall.
Blessings,
PK
Thanks Patti – I knew you would have my back and not tell on me. 🙂 Oh no, it’s cool weather there already? I figured fall would be pushed off in your area for at least another month or so. You are most welcome for the party, and I think the fall decorating will be happening later next week. Yay.
You decorate so beautifully! I wish I had your skills. We’ve had company and I’m trying not to mourn the passing of summer. We did year-round homeschool last year (never again!) and just had one week off before starting again (due to various factors). Thankful for the strength God gives! Praying for your writing and edits. xo
Oh Kelly thank you. Decorating is one way I relieve stress. I really only began decorating when we moved to our current house, before I didn’t have a front porch or a mantle to decorate, just a kitchen table, and it was time consuming to remove everything so we could eat at it every night. LOL Year-round school? whew, but at least you have figured out it won’t work for you going forward. Having company is always fun, and I am sad when they go home, but also like getting back to my schedule. We just had family and a long time friend who moved away years ago come visit for Labor Day weekend. Thank you for your prayers, I cherish them, and I am praying for God to give you abundant strength.
I’ve enjoyed your guest posts! And, love seeing friend Gayl in September’s lineup!!!
Yay, I am so glad Susan – and Yes, Gayl is up next 🙂
Yes, I have been blessed by your guest posts also this summer. It’s been a weary few months, so I have been sporadic with my ability to link-up posts. But I am so grateful to be back here today, linking again. Thank you for hosting! Blessings to you!
Thank you for hosting. I would love for you to party with me at #WonderfulWednesday, #ThursdayFavoriteThings, or #OverTheMoon (Sunday). Enjoy your week!
My summer was great! Birthday parties, getting back into karate class, welcoming 2 people to live with us for awhile, and the highlight of my summer was a week of music and intense Bible study with Michael Card!
Now looking forward to a 2 wk vacation in ME. 🙂
Gayl – It sounds like you had a fabulous summer – the best of everything 🙂
Summer was good, but I like fall better. Had a busy Labor Day Weekend. Had to go to work just to rest from it.
Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful weekend.
Oh no, had to go to work just to rest from it? – hahaha, well I am glad you had a good summer and we are coming into your favorite season. thanks for being here. you have a great weekend too.
Sounds like you had a great summer! I also think that summers around here where I live in Michigan are too short (but I also love the fall season as well!) Looking forward to joining your link up for future Tune in Thursdays!
